Baja TT Sharish GIN is another rally from the FIA European Cup series. 

The organizer has planned 426 km of special stage routes. The competitors are Grzegorz Brochocki and Grzegorz Komar, starting in Canam Maverick, preparing for their appearance in the Dakar Rally 2024.

The entire team underwent administrative checks and the car had technical inspection. Additionally, the vehicle settings were checked during Shakedown.

Day 1

Our competitors Greg and Grzegorz after 7.3 km of the prologue are in 10th place in the T4 class with a time of 6:43. Everything went according to plan and we are very pleased!

Day 2

The crew of Grzegorz Brochocki and Grzegorz Komar completed the stage without any problems, taking eighth place in the T4 class. 

The route led through difficult terrain due to the huge amount of stones and dust.

Day 3

The crew successfully completed the rally without any navigational or technical problems, taking 6th place in their class.

Our service will spend the next few days in Lisbon at the JB Racing headquarters, where they will have time to prepare the car for the next two rallies in Morocco: BAJA Morocco and Rallye du Maroc.

The next start is on October 1 in Morocco!

Grzegorz Brochocki:

We have demystified Portugal! For the first time, OVERLIMIT team competitors completed a rally in this country.  It was the first of three rally which are a test for us before the Dakar Rally. I'm very happy! Mechanically, the car performed great, and so did the team!  We were driving a car in full Dakar specification, so our car was 150kg heavier than the competition. We are even more pleased with the result!

Grzegorz Komar: 

The rally was relatively easy to navigate. It cannot be compared in any way to desert marathons. For me, the real test will be the start in the Rallye du Maroc rally, where we will use the same navigation devices as in Dakar.  I will be replaced by Rafał Marton at the next rally, and I will support the team from Poland.
